Our Origins
Emerald RCM Solutions was born from lived experience. In 2005, when autism affected an estimated 1 in 166 children and ABA therapy lacked insurance recognition, our founder served families directly as a Behavior Technician. Back then, families paid out of pocket, and driven by purpose, she often worked extra hours—unpaid—to ensure no child went without support.
Turning Struggles Into Solutions
Witnessing the system’s limitations, our founder transitioned into the administrative side of ABA just as insurance mandates for autism began to roll out. She discovered that accurate billing and timely reimbursement were as critical to a child’s therapy as the sessions themselves.
We navigated complex insurance landscapes side by side with providers—on the phones, in the paperwork, and even hand-delivering claims when needed. What began as advocacy soon became a commitment to mastery in revenue cycle management (RCM).
